Fitness: Start With The Brain

I was amazed when I discovered how easily the brain can be damaged. Some brain scans look like melted Swiss cheese. These people were average people that you would see out and about doing their normal day to day tasks. I got interested in the subject when I watched a program on KSPS, with a doctor named Dr Amen who specializes in the human brain and mind. I'm not a doctor, I don't know exactly how things work within the body but this is how I understand things: Somehow I've managed to place supplements, toxic chemicals, and hormones into one subject because everything you put in your mouth has an impact on brain health. I believe that if you eat healthy for the brain then your body will thank you. Everything you do in your life depends on your brain so it makes sense to pay great attention to what you place in your body. If you're on any kind of fitness program it is important to have a good hormone balance. This hormone balance will naturally come through homeostasis and you don't need to do anything special however the more synthetic chemicals you place into your body the more brain trauma will occur. On the other hand, if you put only healthy nutrients into the body the trauma will be much less.
