Gym equipment or Commercial Gym Equipment ? (note* Commercial Gym Equipment is the same stuff you would find at your local health club).
At first most people think why don’t I just go to the local sporting goods store and pick up the equipment, doesn’t cost much money and it does the trick, right? Well maybe, that really depends on what your budget is and how serious you are at getting in shape and using your exercise equipment. If you’re used to using the exercise equipment from the gym you will find the home equipment to be very unsteady and built with much less quality. In other words you get what you pay for. Most people who want equipment in their home don’t realize there is a huge difference between home equipment and commercial equipment.
Home fitness Equipment – Will cost you under $1,000 and is meant for the beginner. I’ve found that it really isn’t built to last, most of the time the treadmill or elliptical will break within the first 2 years. So you end up buying new equipment every 2-3 years. Do the math in your lifetime you’ll end up spending way more in the long run
Commercial Fitness Equipment- Will cost over $2,000 and is meant for someone that is going to work out on a consistent basis 3-4 times a week. There is a reason your local gym carries these models, people want to workout on the best most efficient machines. You don’t want to go to the gym and have your machine be shaky and hard to use. You want to use smooth silent machines that don’t get in the way of your workout. This stuff lasts forever! Though it costs more up front in the end you save! You get better warranties better service and overall a much better workout.
Now that you’ve decided commercial gym equipment is the smarter buy, you have to think about buying brand new or remanufactured gym equipment. Well, if you’re a smart consumer and want the best bang for your buck you will do a little research about Certified Pre-Owned Remanufactured commercial fitness equipment. And you’ll see its very similar to buying a used BMW that is 1 year old and has 13,000 miles. You get it for 40% off and your pretty much getting a brand new car. The dealer will change the tires, brakes, some belts ect… The car is pretty much in perfect condition and doesn’t need much work done to it. You get all the benefits, you get the car you might not be able to afford brand new and you got it for considerably less money.
Now all you need to do is find a company that you can trust. Just be careful when you hear companies offering LIFETIME warranties or machines they call Cleaned & Serviced, they will tell you the machines are perfect but I wouldn’t trust them. I want Remanufactured Commercial Fitness Equipment – I like getting the most bang for my buck!
