I Want 6 Pack Abs!

If you buy a fitness magazine, then there is always a model with incredible abs, who promises the next secret to 6 pack abs. Everything seems so easy, but yet so complicated. It is very hard to find the truth amongst all the misinformation and lies.

To get 6 pack abs you really really need to focus on the diet. Your diet is more important than all the work you do in the gyms. Because if you have a layer of fat around your waist, then nobody will see your abs. Abs are made in the kithcen.

What should I do with my diet?

If you want to build muscle tissue, then you have to make sure you get enough protein. Proteins will make you feel fuller, than eating carbs for example.Your body will burn more calories breaking down protein compared to carbs and fats. The more calories you burn the less fat there will be around your waist.

You also have to use monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats such as olive oils, fish oils, a mix of nuts, natural peanut butter and avocado. Dietary fat helps keep your insulin level stable, which, when high enough can actually cause fat gain itself. But you have to keep your it between 20-30%.

Carbohydrates should be consumed post workout, because your body is going to need those carbohydrates the most and will really suck them up into the muscle tissue. Consuming carbs after your workout will also  help to aid with muscle recovery and repair.

Your each meal should consist of 1-2 cups of raw vegetables to control insulin levels, improve absorption of your protein and flood your body with vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants.

Train your abs in the gym, burn fat with cardio and have a good hard look at your diet.
