Dre Baldwin: How To Shoot A Jumpshot | NBA Shooting Mechanics Tips

www.DreAllDay.com What Y’all Asked For Vol. 25 *Facebook page updated link www.Facebook.com Twitter: www.Twitter.com Facebook Fan Page: www.facebook.com Here it is: my theory on shooting in basketball. Of course if you ask 100 people about how to shoot, you’ll get 100 different answers… so here is my answer. Take it or leave it. My advice, as stated in the vid, is to find what works for YOU, and do that over and over and over. What I do may not necessarily be what you need. Get to work.

practice shooting a bit further back, slowly moving back till you get where u wanna be

commenter

How do you increase your shooting range. I heard that shooting all comes from your leg? can ou make a video showing how?

commenter

repetitions, meaning shooting a lot of shots in practice.

commenter

@Rated10STARz He means you have to continue to shoot and shoot over and over again, like shoot thousands of shots each day :)

Dre, what do you think of a player like Reggie Miller?

commenter

Just a tip…

until recently i have been an extremely good shooter. but i never made my free throws.

so i went to my coach (who was an 80 % 3 point shooter and asked him what was wrong with my shot.

he told me that u have to see the ball when u shoot it – try to put the ball above your head instead of next to it.

so, i tried that, and the results were amazing- i made lyk 30 in a row before missing. tat was three weeks ago. Now, after puttin thereps in, i havent missed in practice.

commenter

never even been there. i would love to though

commenter

street leagues? in summer i play everywhere. i have not played in the ABA

commenter

thanks!
