commenter

thanks for the help – very useful! ^_^

start slowly, try 5 a day and increase as you gain strength. Don’t discourage.

commenter

I did 1000 in one night… But I did them incorrectly.

commenter

HELP!!

My back keeps clicking when i go down :(

commenter

yea i heard that u can train ur abs to either movement or strength

but idk the diffrence.
no one ever teaches that shit.

if you’re a busy guy, try non-stop sit-ups for about 10 minutes a day exercising lower, middle, and upper abs.

commenter

haha ive been doing the wrong ways this whole time

commenter

Put your feet underneath something so that the don’t move and cross your arms like an x across your chest and keep your legs together and pull yourself up.

I cannot do sit ups at all. My belly muscles are freakin weak and my neck and shoulders always hurt when I try. I’m not evening using my hands on anything! Someone help me!!!

commenter

Ya good explanation

commenter

I’m watching this because I wanna’ join the army when I’m 18, just I dont know if I’m doing situps right, I’m attempting to become a bodybuilder atm and I do crunches instead of situps and I need to start doing them properly.

sit ups are worthless. the core needs to be trained for stability and force transfer, not mobility. sit ups are more hip flexors than abs, and the average person is too tight as it is in the hip flexors.

commenter

i die.i have a shit life!!

commenter

How many sit-ups a day is acceptable to get strong abs? I’m thin but that area is so flubby, I’m in my mid 20s, I want a six pack! or at least well toned abs

commenter

cud u get the same results when laying on a flat bed type ? and do sit ups? please respond

commenter

haha :P damn right.

commenter

well im not strong im athletic. My abdominal muscles are good but i cant do 1 sit ups without something on my feet. My physical education teacher said that my back is not enough flexible. But i have really good results in the fitness tests, also flexibility tests.

anyway its not really important but thank you for taking time XD

dude push ups uses the pectoral muscles, while sit ups uses the abdominal muscles… so seeing as u can do 90 push ups, u probably have extremely strong pecs but seeing as u find sit ups difficult, u probably have weak abs. or mabye ur pecs r so strong, its hard for ur abs to lift them up in a sit up…
thats all i can think of
