listen to music or watch tv loud while on tread makes it alot less boring

Running in the real world is better as the treadmill doesn’t need the same ammount of forward force. However, it’s a great place to start and a bit lower impact.

The treadmill is an excellent way to lose weight through cardio, but after about a month, it honestly gets boring. I’ve done interval training but I always feel as if I’m running to “destination: nowhere. So instead, I just go sprinting outside my neighboorhood which stretches those hamstring muscles and aids in agility.

The problem with walking on a treadmill is that it usually takes longer to burn the same amount of calories it would opposed to running at 7 mph. :-(

if your a decent runner or jogger about 23 mins

yeah i run at 6.0 mph and it’s a ten minute mile

15 minutes if you’re running at about 7.0 mph, give or take a minute or two.

question why is your legs so close to the edge when you are walking? is it better to be farther away from the edge or closer just wondering?

:S i dont like treadmills. when i start the running, i always get the feeling that i’m about to fall right off. that’s why i prefer running in the park or something :D good video though. helped me in the gym.

that was a quick two minutes and i think if you stretched your legs and gradually got faster it would be much better for you
