@christianbaclao Yeah, I’d recommend a full body workout for the whole body in one session. (Training both upper AND lower body in each training session). That way you’ll hit all your largest muscle groups to stimulate growth. This is particularly effective when getting started, because it strikes that nice balance between hitting all the muscles you need to, and giving yourself enough rest and recovery between sessions. Thanks for your question.

Hey andy, are you saying to workout all the muscles in 1 session or are you just saying work out the whole body, period?

Thanks for your feedback P3SCI – If you’ve found a way that works, fantastic. However, full body workouts is still a great approach for skinny guys wanting to gain mass, bulk up and build muscle, but it’s not the only consideration to make. There’s a whole bunch of other factors including…specific exercises, order of exercises, rep range, workout duration, rest between sets, number of sets, workout intensity, pre-workout nutrition, post-workout nutrition, time between workouts etc.

think i’d have to disagree…. full body workouts are excellent for fitness not for gaining muscle mass or weight… i was thin and couldnt get bigger and couldnt see where i was going wrong, full body workouts is where i was goin wrong… i was breaking the muscle tissue and not giving it time to heal to grow!!
